{ NEW Workshops...Coming Soon! } : Floyd Center for the Arts // Summer 2020
I am beyond excited to start teaching again at the Floyd Center for the Arts. I have been working on several new weekend workshops (including Mini-Abstracts and Mountain Landscapes) as well as bringing back some faves, like Bookmaking Bonanza!, Rust Printing, Captivating Coptics and Designing Artist Books.
After these past few months of a New Normal, it feels so good to get back to feeding the soul by teaching book and paper arts again!
{ Bookmaking Bonanza! at the Earthshine Lodge } : Lake Toxaway, NC // Saturday, March 7th
On Saturday, March 7th, my sweet daughter (River, 9) and I will be traveling to beautiful Lake Toxaway, NC to teach the Bookmaking Bonanza! at the Earthshine Lodge.
In this workshop, we will make 5 mini books in 5 hours. Can we do it? Children ages 6 years and up are welcome to join us with an adult. This is a great workshop for mother/daughters, besties, couples and makers of all types. Please join us!

{ Holiday Gift Bookmaking Party } : Saturday, December 14th, 2019 // Blacksburg, VA
On Saturday, December 14th, we will gather in Blacksburg, VA to see how many books we can make in 4 hours. Beginning at 10am, I will instruct you on how to make the Mini Flower Fold. Participants will have 1-1.5 hours to make as many of this style of book as possible. We will take a short break and then learn the Mini Accordion Fold. Participants will have 1-1.5 hours to make as many as possible. Participants will take all completed books home with them. These little books are the perfect stocking stuffers!
