The weekend of April 7-8, 2019 was spent exploring Rust Printing + Mark Making at the Floyd Center for the Arts. Seven highly creative women joined me as we made marks on paper and fabric. By the end of the weekend, we made a handmade artist book stuffed full of unique papers, hand lettering and more!

Suzanne loved how her fabric turned out!
Pat had great results with fabric!
Martha’s fabric treated with salt popped!
Joyce was pleased with her results on paper. Different teas produce different results!
Using shibori style folding, Sarah was able to achieve this funky and unique effect with fabric.
Everyone loved making cola pens and experimenting with their own style of calligraphy.
